Deputy A.W. Grimes Training Center Rules

IN ORDER TO PROVIDE A PROFESSIONAL AND ENJOYABLE LEARNING ENVIRONMENT
CONDUCIVE TO EFFICIENT TRAINING, WE ASK THAT YOU ABIDE BY THE FOLLOWING RULES:

1. Please be seated promptly at the time the class is scheduled to begin.
2. Please return promptly from breaks.
3. Please ensure mobile devices are placed on silent prior to class.
If you need to use your phone, please exit the classroom.
4. Disruptive students may be excused from the remainder of that class without
department refund at the direction of the class Instructor or Academy Supervisory staff.
5. Please wear a uniform or business casual attire for classes unless the course flyer
indicates special clothing is required, such as defensive tactics or other physical training
course.
“Business Casual” means collared shirt in a solid color or conservative pattern, slacks,
trousers, pressed or starched jeans for men and women, appropriate length skirts or
dresses for women, business, or uniform style footwear. “5.11” style pants are
acceptable.
No t-shirts, sweatshirts, sandals, flip flops, or sneakers will be allowed in regular
classes.
6. Beverages and snacks are permitted, however, please cleanup after yourself and throw
all trash away.
7. Please return all guest badges to the instructor at the end of the day.
